Hero.io was a project I had the privilege of leading, playing a pivotal role in shaping its creative vision from inception to completion. I was responsible for a broad spectrum of creative tasks, including concept development, branding, character design, visual identity, and defining key design variables.

I directed and executed the overall creative direction, overseeing and working on the development of the brand’s mascot, it’s animated video, and UI design for the apps within the Hero Ecosystem, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.

From the logo and animation to UI design, graphics, event materials, and branding & marketing kits, I played a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and overall look and feel of Hero.io. The creative process began with developing the brand’s color palette and designing the Hero character itself. Collaborating with a small team of talented creatives, we successfully produced the entire video in-house, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand narrative.

Beyond directing the video, I managed the entire creative production pipeline, overseeing pre-production to post-production. This included concept art, look development, texturing, lighting, VFX, UI/UX design, and graphics for various digital and print materials. Additionally, I contributed to sound design and scoring, leveraging ElevenLabs AI models to create a distinctive voice for narrating the brand’s story. My work extended to crafting event materials, branding assets, and marketing kits, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and reinforcing Hero.io’s strong and engaging brand presence.

In addition to shaping Hero.io’s overall visual identity, I led the design of the branding section and brand guidelines for the website, ensuring a clear and cohesive representation of the brand. This process began with logo design, carefully crafting a symbol that embodies Hero.io’s core values and vision.

I developed a comprehensive brand guide outlining the design language, typography, color schemes, and visual elements, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Beyond aesthetics, I defined the brand’s message, tone of voice, and storytelling approach to create a strong emotional connection with the audience. From logo usage and iconography to motion principles and marketing assets, every detail was thoughtfully structured to maintain a unified and impactful brand presence.

The brand guidelines served as the foundation for maintaining a cohesive identity across all touchpoints, from web and app UI to brand advertisements and the Hero.io mascot. By establishing a clear visual and messaging framework, the guidelines ensured consistency and adaptability, allowing the brand to remain instantly recognizable and impactful across various mediums.

In addition to shaping Hero.io’s overall visual identity, I designed the website and app UI to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience. The process began with in-depth research on competitor designs and industry references, followed by intuitive wireframing and layout design. Every interface was carefully crafted to align with Hero.io’s core values and vision, ensuring a visually cohesive, functional, and user-friendly experience.
